Private Mahjong Lessons
Join us for a private mahjong lesson in a welcoming Boca Raton location! Lisa will guide you through everything you need to know to enjoy this classic game. Whether you come alone or with a group, we have no minimum requirement. Our Mahj 101, 102, and 103 sessions take place weekly, and every guest leaves with a Dot Dot Soap welcome kit filled with all the essentials to keep playing!
Mahjong Lesson FAQs
No. Mahj 101 starts from scratch and covers the tiles, how a game flows, and the basic rules. No experience or gear is needed, and a friend is welcome to join.
Mahj 101 teaches the basics and includes a few practice rounds. Mahj 102 focuses on reading your hand, smarter discards, and stronger strategy, with plenty of guided play. Mahj 103 is for experienced players and covers advanced strategy, reading the table, and defensive play in fast, competitive games.
New players start with Mahj 101. Players who have completed 101 or know the basic rules can start with Mahj 102. Players who have completed 102 or play regularly can join Mahj 103. Anyone who is unsure can message Lisa, and she will recommend a level.
Guided Play is a hosted session on Wednesday evenings at 6pm in Boca Raton. It is designed for players who have taken at least one lesson and are ready to play, with Lisa on hand to answer questions and help sharpen your game.
Open Play runs on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 PM. Players join a friendly table, keep their skills sharp, and meet other mahjong fans in Boca Raton.
Yes. Friends are welcome at lessons and play sessions. A group bringing a full table of 4 can message Lisa for a code that takes $5 off per person at Guided Play.
